Nonprofit group Duffle Bags and More seeks space to lease

August 7, 2025

In support of children entering the foster care system in Delaware this year, Duffle Bags and More has delivered 120 sets of duffle bags and toiletry bags, along with carloads of toiletries to Delaware Division of Family Services. The local nonprofit has also delivered 144 toiletry bags to the Delaware Chapter of I Support The Girls, as well as toiletries and bags to Milford Advocacy for the Homeless, new clothing to Shepherd's Office in Georgetown, and $500 to Love Inc. in Seaford.

Duffle Bags and More board member Patti Conroy said, looking to the future, the nonprofit has begun to search for a 1,500-square-foot space to lease where it can host work parties, and store equipment and supplies. “We also hope to find donor(s) who can share the costs with us,” said Conroy. “Please email dufflesmore@gmail.com if you have such a space or are willing to donate.”
